Created to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Lineside Details, Lineside Memories is a custom-commissioned work by acclaimed railroad artist Robert West.

Inspired by the Southern Railway in western Georgia and eastern Alabama, the scene blends prototype influence with artistic storytelling—capturing the strength and presence of the railroad as it moves through a quiet rural landscape. Thoughtfully incorporated into the scene are select Lineside Details signs, tying the artwork directly to the details that bring model railroads to life.

This piece reflects both the power of the railroad and the small details along the right-of-way that make each scene memorable.
